Hmmm, there is something wrong

Something is wrong with my friends computer... She has taken it back to her IT guy several times with no luck as to the problem.... And then she went downstairs and found this..... Yup, that is her dog!

Yes, This is my Cousin!

Yes, it is true.... This nice looking man in the great Tux (that his wife picked out!) is my cousin who is getting an Emmy in the New York Emmy Awards. His company is Blink Productions and you can check out their Web site HERE. Go Mark! Go Mark! YAY!!!

Cubs and Purchases!

Big purchases were made today with Nana! The boy finished up school and headed to go shopping to spend their Christmas money that has been burning a hole in their pockets!

Qman invested in a Nerf Blaster and Zman put his money towards "Pixos". The Pixos are awesome and Zach has been making little 'pebble critters' with it! He has been having a good time with his new machine and loves all the little things that he can make with it.

Unfortunately, Q's nerf blaster jammed and needs to be taken back. He was really good about it and his father will bring him back to the store to hopefully get it replaced.

Cubs went very well and I hope that everything is set for the next several weeks while I am busy with taxes. The boys seemed excited about the projects that we have lined up and they should be ready to advance in March!!

1 Week Down! A nice Hike.....

One week down with me working and it went rather smoothly..... I have a schedule for the boys and they have done well following it. Nana watched them last week and then went with me on Thursday to get new cell phones. She had a long week that's for sure!
On Saturday when I got home from work we went on a hike out to the back of the property where a pond is going in! It was a nice hike even though it started raining on us!
The boys had a friend over and they had a good time with him. I have managed to schedule the next 5 or 6 weeks of cub scout meetings to get a jump on things in case I am unable to make it to the meetings. I feel pretty accomplished and ready to get going on Taxes now....
Life gets a bit hectic for during this time and with the house in order it really feels like we are on top of things for once!

A Field Trip

Nana took the boys on their home school Field trip to the bank and the Post Office. They had a good time seeing their friends and enjoyed the field trip!

That time of year again!

Yes, check your calenders! It is tax time again and we will be a bit hidden these days.... The boys are staying with grandparents and are trying to keep on schedule with schoolwork. Nana is doing a great job with them and organizing their room! I basically hit the ground running and am trying to "get the job done" with our clients.... Not always an easy task but the people that I work with are great and it is a lot of fun to be back there!

I installed AIM on the boys puters and I will be able to keep tabs on them through the day which I think is going to help them handle me being gone so much.

Today is story day and they have to write something so maybe you will catch that later in the week.
They start Masters tomorrow and I hope to bring them this first day if everything goes okay!

Flying!

The boys took a few minutes to fly their plane around the field today. It was pretty chilly as you can tell by their red cheeks but they enjoyed fooling around.. Zman had an awesome flight on his last throw!! I enjoy these moments when they just go out and do something together!

Godparents Arrive!

The Godparents arrived from the North today.. Heading South! It was fun to see them and they got a nice long tour of the house (which they have never seen) and got to see Dad fly. Mom made them split pea soup (yuck!) and the boys entertained them a bit by running wild...... It is always nice to see family from home!! They both look great and even though the visits are always short, it is nice to know that mom and dad get some wonderful company for the night and old stories pop up!

Bathroom door? Who needs one!

So we got some tvs moved... Our den tv went to the boys (and they need to suck up to Grandpa to make them a cool shelf for it.....) And the old big screen TV went to the den.... Of course blocking one of the TWO bathroom doors.. I don't know how the family and friends are going to adapt to not having two two doors but only time will tell... For now the old "big ass tv" has a home!
