Pond Work!

The boys and I spent the better part of the day yesterday working on the pond with Grandpa! For the last two weeks we have had a lunch down there and this week Qman and Grandpa made the lunch! It is really good with a plethora of great stuff!! We got a lot cleaned out around the pond in the "beach area" and got a few trees skidded out.

Busy Day!

Coming home from Athens today I had to go through this park. I love this bridge, it reminds me of home! It was such a pretty fall day!!
Zman had his last soccer game tonight. They lost but they really did play a hard game! We treated him to Dairy Queen and he was happy about that even if he was sad about his season ending. MiMi made it to this game; she was so happy to get out of the house!

Here is MiMi with no more cast!!! Her little tiny foot looks so sad but at least she is mending!!

Today is Here!!!

Yes! Today is finally here! Today is the day!! Here is the last photo taken of MiMi with her cast on!! Today she will be getting her cast off!!! YAY!! It has been a LONG 8 weeks but at least this stage of the recovery is over and we ALL lived through it!!

Happy thoughts for MiMi as she begins the process of "coming back"!!!

Finished Pumpkins!!!

Carving Pumpkins!!!

The boys and Scott carved their pumpkins tonight at Mimi's house! Mimi enjoyed watching everyone carve and being involved!
As you can see Q spent time on line to get his pumpkin ideas!! How funny, Zman just took to the carving before even cleaning out the inside the pumpkin!! I love my boys!!!

Chicken BBQ anyone??

The boys had a fund raiser today that they have been selling tickets for. Some of the dad's made the chicken this morning and the boys and mom's helped pack 200 chicken BBQ plates this afternoon!

The last one that we will have for a while is the Popcorn sale which we are trying to get through. Don't know where our trip will be but I know it will be fun!!!

The next big activity that the boys will have will be their fall family camping in November! It is going to be freezing!!!

Grandpa's lunch!

We went down to the pond yesterday and had a wonderful lunch with Grandpa! He surprised us by having a "shrimp/bacon" snack ready to throw on the fire!!

We brought hamburgers and enjoyed a quiet lunch with him! It was so peaceful down in the back of the property!!

Just Busy!!!!

We have been so busy.... Between cubs, working, school, and just general things I have not had time to do anything!!! Thankfully my house has remained somewhat clean and I have not had to worry so much about that.
We went to a party at our Friends L & L last Friday night. They were celebrating 10 years together and we got them snuggles.... Of course knowing them so well we got one a "G" college one and one "Nightmare before Christmas" one!!! They loved them!
My friend "Tuna" flew in for the weekend on Friday and had a whirlwind time as I trucked her all over GA!
Sat night we took her to the S's house and we played RockBand (of course? what else would we do!!) and made her sing! It was a great night!!
The boys and I took her back to the airport on Sunday and we were all sad to see the weekend end! While we were dropping her off we met up with Grandpa who was on his way home from CT! It was great to see him and we all went to breakfast and then followed him home from SC!

SNOW IN CT!!!!

Yes, that is correct, you read it!!! Kaylee's first snow is in OCTOBER!!!! It may be cold and raining here in GA but at least we don't have snow!!!

"THE BABY SHOWER"!!!

We pulled off the surprise baby shower (almost) yesterday and it was a wonderful day!!! Here are a couple photos from it, to see more please click on the link below. Everyone had a good time and ate a LOT!!! We had enough food to feed a small army which was okay. Mr.X and Pamela got a lot of nice things and it was fun to go by their house tonight and paw through all the little pink things!!!

Webelos Weekend 09'

We survived another year of Webelos Weekend!!! YAY!! Thanks to my husband, our great friends and some good parents in our pack, the boys had a great time and great experiences!!
The big B and Q worked with JO on their Arrow of Light Requirements during this weekend and I was very proud of all three boys. Our two boys will need some more work and then test to get their Arrow of Light but the award is very special and I hope it works out that Nana will be here when Q gets awarded it! Zman will not be eligible for his until next year but I am confident that he will also earn the prestigious award.

This spring the little B will join the cubs but he sure has managed almost every task with the older boys over the last couple of years! The photo at the end was not staged by any adult, the kids were including him and thought it would be funny to have the 5 year old go against all of them!!! I love when they work as a team!!!

Grandpa left us wood and a saw so we had plenty of fire this weekend even if we all got sun burned yesterday; we needed it at night! The circle was again mowed nicely and has been left like no one spent any time up there!!

Camp is now once again broken down and things are slowly getting put away and cleaned but the memory of the wonderful weekend with the awesome weather will last a very long time! Our next camping trip will be in November and it will be very COLD!!!!
