So, while I have been slaving out at the farm, the boys have been going between MiMi's and Grandpa's house..... Grandpa took the to a rocket building/launching activity at our local library. They had a really good time and the boys have been talking about Grandpa taking them for 2 days now! Thankfully Grandpa took photos and sent me some!

Water day on the last day of Camp!

The last day of camp is so much fun for so many reasons! This year we had a water slide as well as a bouncy house! The boys had a nice lesson from the fire department and then were able to be shot with the water hose and were able to shoot at each other!
We had parents cook HBs and HDs for the boys and then it was back to more fun with the bounce house and the water slide!
Closing ceremonies went off wonderful and it was great to see so many parents/grandparents at it!

Cub Day camp; Day 4!

Well we made it through day 4! Cub Scout Day camp has been an adventure in so many areas! I am proud to say that both the field sports and the shooting range have been a big success and I have helped boys that would not have otherwise had the chance to do some sports or shoot a bow or BBgun! The boys have been very good and all have seemed to have a great time!

Tomorrow is going to be such a fun day! Water day is tomorrow and we have a water slide as well as a bounce house! We also have misc. water activities and water toys for the boys to play with!

Today the K9 Unit came out as a special guest and we saw the handler work with the dog a little bit and got a lot of questions answered about a K9 unit!

We will miss the S's spending the night tonight but both boys are looking forward to sleepovers at friends houses tomorrow night!

Grandpa headed to the pool place today and got a brand new shinny pump for us and we managed to get it all hooked up today before the rain came! Zman and I went in for a little bit and worked on getting some leaves up but there were not many since we had basically got it all cleaned out prior to leaving for the North trip!

First Day of Cub Camp!

Cub Day camp is a big summer event for us! We enjoy the whole week and to make things even better, we get overnight company a couple nights during this week! The boys have a great time with different classes that include Nature, Arts and Crafts, sports and shooting sports. Each "den" does a skit or song for the end of week activities and our Friday adventures are usually very fun!!
