The boys!

The boys started their guitar lessons yesterday. Zman got right up this morning to show me the cords that he learned yesterday. They are taking lessons twice a week! I am very excited for them and they seem to be really into learning how to play. Qman was told he had to cut his nails so he could play better so he came right home to do that!
The boys were able to stay at home last week because scott was sick most of the week, they really enjoyed that, but now they will be hanging with MiMi and then grandpa!

My work is crazy!!! I know it will be 3 more weeks of crazy but this too shall pass....

Wishes to my Godmother who is in the hospital in Florida and will be having heart surgery on the 27th!

Q's day and Family Night!

I have a photo of Q playing War 40k but for some reason it won't load.... He had a great time watching Kevin and Scott play and is looking forward to his Wednesday playing his own army against his father!!

The S's and the O's came down for some Dr. Who and breakfast for dinner!!!! What a wonderful night!!

Q's exciting day!!!

We are heading into our 10th day of 12 degree weather!!! Things are not thawing out the way they should!!!

Today is Q's day. He gets, for the first time to watch and participate in an actual Warhammer 40K game! He has been working on his army and is so excited that Kevin and Scott are getting their armies out, blowing off the dust and actually going to play!!

This afternoon we will welcome all our friends for a couple of Dr.Whos and "breakfast for dinner" night! I am looking forward to this more than you can imagine because we have been wanting to watch a Dr. Who for a while and it will be wonderful to have the S's and the O's and us all together for this "last" family event until PEAK tax time is over!!! (no jokes from my family about tax time please)...

Thankfully KS will be working in my office this year and I look forward to this being a very successful season! The pressure right now is unreal but I believe that I will pull this off ( with some good people standing beside me!) and we will get air again in March and be ready to take the next step into creating an wonderful office! You won't hear a lot out of me... The boys will be hanging with MiMi and then with Grandpa in the afternoons (I hope)...... Thankfully my family is awesome and my kids enjoy great times with their grandparents!

I know mom... I have to take my tree down.... Maybe next Sunday!

A Cub's Award......

Arrow of Light... It is a BIG award. It is the ONLY award that a cubscout can carry into Adulthood. The AOL is not easy to earn. The cubscout must know a lot of information and practice it in his every day life to the satisfaction of not only his parents but his cubmaster, leader and the other adults in his life. Our FIRST cubscout accomplished this and was awarded his AOL on Friday night.

Now, with that being said, I can't tell you what I was thinking back in October when I scheduled this event for January 8th! Who knew that it was going to be 12 degrees on January 8th!!!!

We had a wonderful night regardless of the weather! We are so proud of Our AOL recipient....!! I can't wait for Q and B to get theirs!!

Thanks to Dad for getting our pit ready and the wood (once again) for the fire!!!

Bringing in 2010!

2010 is here. The boys, Scott and I worked on the fire pit today with Grandpa. The boys and Nana worked on their ginger bread houses. Every year they have made ginger bread houses with Nana and Zachary asked if they could find time to do it again this year. I managed to find a couple of box ones and the boys had a great time doing them. Zach was very happy to work with Nana and they spent a few days with her playing games and hanging out.
We are getting ready for a "family" outing this Friday so we were working on the Fire pit so that it will be ready for our outing.
Zach and I headed down town after to get some more photos printed off at Wallgreens while Q and Scott went to Ingles to buy some new teas. Scott wanted to introduce Q to tea balls and loose tea. Q is really into his tea and we all came back and made tea. It is nice to settle in for the night and just relax. I am going to try to make a couple of scrap book pages while the boys watch another movie!

New Years Eve!

What a great way to bring in the New Year! We spent our day/night and next day with our great friends. One big thing missing was Mr.X, P and BabyI! We enjoyed a few movies, a lot of laughs and some pretty good food..... Mark came down and rounded out our group nicely! It is always fun to have sleep overs and the boys all had such a good time!
Thoughts and prayers still going up north to family there in need of some happy thoughts and some better 2010 days!

Much love to all family and friends and looking forward to what 2010 brings.!!
