The Cub Scout is having a PopCorn sale. Actually it is over but because we are a new troop they are extending it for us. I think that the popcorn that they sell is very overpriced and hard to deliver but this year there is a special new thing....Our New pack gets 35% of all sales for anything we need...... By participating in this part of the sale, you can support the military. You will not get anything in return but the cost is $25 and the BSA will send $25 worth of popcorn treats to the military men and women.
This is a new program and I think it is great. Our troop will get $8.75 for every $25 donation and the troops will get $25 worth of popcorn delivered to them! I think it is a great way to sell this popcorn and you don't have to worry about a $30-50 tin that is about 14-80 oz's of popcorn.... or $10-$16 for 15 bags of microwave popcorn!If you have any interest in supporting the boys in Cubs or the troops, please give me a call, shoot me an email or respond here!
