Our Afternoon.......

Nana, the boys and I headed to Wallyworld, HD and my corp office after lunch to see what we could come up with for lights, paint samples, fabric and do a little bit of shopping. We were pretty productive and the boys finally decided on colors for their room. The sleeping quarters will be "Raging Sea" which is a gray/silver with "French Pale Gold" for the trim which is a mustard gold. For the existing part of the room it will be mostly the "French Pale Gold" and a really pretty green called "Billiard Room". Zman was set on some kind of green and we were happy that he got away from the Red/Green combo that he wanted originally..... We did not find the lights that we wanted for over the bed but the boys found a ceiling fan that they wanted even though it was way out of the budget.... Going to have to work on that....
We got back and Scott and I worked on the pool. Lucy and Yoda fooled around in the back yard (doesn't she look mean?) and the boys checked on their baby birds. This is the 4th year we have watched baby birds in this nest and it was neat to hear them wake up and great their mom!
I opted not to "close the pool" because the cost of water is wicked and we are slowly getting shocked back to normal and leaves removed.

Today will be more building... I want to saw out the window that will be their walkway but dad wants to continue with closing it in... We have to fix the step that was ruined by the rain and start to put siding on once we get it closed in. Going to be another busy day around the house... Have to cut grass this afternoon and take on the ant hills that have taken over our lawn.
