The big "boys room" project got a fierce jump start today with a massive hauling out of their room to get it ready to paint and the front porch cleaned off as well as a pit run...
The boys got a little lesson in foundation repair work and helped mix the cement as well as bring grandpa bricks to lay for the repair.
Nana was nice enough to come down and help out the relocating of their stuff into boxes and a big throw away job of about 5 trash bags worth of stuff. We began to come up with colors and different things that both boys want to have in their room.
They are each getting a crawl space so they can go from one part of the room into their sleeping quarters as well as lights over their beds for reading, plenty of shelves and a window seat that opens to put extra blankets or toys into. Qman had a little bit of a tough time when things began to come off the walls and taken down. The room has been about the same since he can remember. It is nice to have the change but he is sad to see it change.
