Phase 2-- boys room addition.

Construction began on Phase 2 of the boys room addition project....
The boys were called out of the house in between doing school work to help with some of the project. Getting the wall in place but first for a lesson in measuring to get the wall straight and a refresher on how to measure out with the ruler.
Walls are starting to go in and now all 3 stud walls are in place. Windows and wires need to be put in, lights need to be purchased and then it will soon be time to pant and figure out how they want things.
Still a very chilly 56 degrees today with no warmth in sight. No rain expected until the weekend thankfully.
This flower was shipped several years ago down here from my Aunt Linda in CT.... Many survived, this is the prettiest one.. It needs to be relocated because it was planted where we are going to begin to dig out under the house for the basement.
Part of the boys tasks is to clean up when the work for the day has ended.... Usually in the past that was my job but they are old enough to do it and it was met with some grumbling but it is hard for them to grumble to much when it is their room we are working on!Off to Home Depot to look at lights and paint samples as well as fabric for their window seat, curtains and pillows!
