"They got the stent into his aorta and for the first time since Gray has been 5, he has a pulse in his left arm. The doctor really scared him before surgery by telling him there was the possibility that he could die, just what every 13 year old needs to hear."
We are thrilled that the surgery went so well in Boston and hope his recovery goes just as well.....
From the North to the South..... Got a call this morning that Aunt Joyce came through her surgery well and is resting comfortable in FL.(photo of her on their visit b4 heading to FL).....
After the overall pleasantries this morning about Aunt Joyce, on the phone with the Cousin, We got into a 45 minute discussion on the "state of our youth"..... An area of conversation that she and I see eye to eye on and only fueled each other during the conversation on what we think is "wrong" with kids these days..... Kinda fun to get her wound up b4 9am; kind of like talking to dad......
Mr. X left for his trip and will be missed horribly..... The S's are planning to come up this weekend and K's first question was "Who is going to yell DEPLOY at me??" Ehh.. don't you worry K! We will yell at you all you want!
Pam is leaving to visit her mom, she has been busy with her night class so we have really missed her!.. We wish them both safe trips!
I am taking the boys to Master's today.. First time in a couple months. I am actually glad to be able to take them. Going to swing by Pat's house and doing some lunch and cleaning.... Glad that she is finally home. She spent the better part of 2007 in Rehab for two different falls.
Hope to get back home in time to do an hour or so at the office and then some more on the trikke if it is as pretty as it was yesterday. Needing to do a run as well... Long hours and bad weather has played a serious factor in not running...
A loud Congrats going out to Mark for doing 12 miles on Sunday, 6 miles on Tuesday and 8 miles yesterday on the Silver Comet! He has "Serious Skills"......
(only a select few will get that joke..... :):) )Projects a-plenty this weekend...... Of course... Best laid plans... Supposed to rain on Friday and Saturday tho.... We shall see how the weekend goes..
