Mom the boys and I, joined Kati, Walter, the boys and Kati's mom, Debbie in Ellijay GA for their annual Apple Festival. The day was filled with all kinds of excitement for all the boys! There was plenty to see and eat and a ton of stuff for the kids!Ellijay is North West of Atlanta and from our house (with stops) it took just under 4 hours. It was a long day but was so much fun that we would do it again! All types of "FRIED" food was to be had...
Amazing what you can do with an Oreo and a Twinkie! It was HOT... Yes, I know it is fall/October.... But with the sun beating down it was pretty warm. When we left the house it was about 58 and we thought that because it was in the mountains it would have been cooler; we were wrong.
There were all kinds of bouncy things for the boys to do and a huge "Titanic" slide. There was also bull riding and then all the normal festival stuff like face painting and arts and crafts things.
Mom and the boys did the cake walk to benefit the animal shelter (but they did not win) and then Quentin wanted a caricature drawn and the other three wanted their face painted.

It was wonderful to finally meet Kati's mom.. She seemed to have a good time with her grandsons!

They had root beer out of the big brown barrels that they poured in unique bottles that were really cool. Zach really wanted his own bottle of it and I got him one just before we left. He was so excited!
