Wendy fought long and hard during her illness and I know that at one time she played her flute when she should not have been able to get out of bed. Karoline said that it was absolutely incredible.
We wish the P-C and the Layman families the best and they are in our thoughts today.

hey coz..thank for the special note for Dede. There is no screen for ovarian cancer and most women are diagnosed in either stage 3 or 4 and most don't live past 5 years with it. Fight for money to be put toward a screening for ovarian cancer a huge killer of our women. Wendy leaves two children, Ben and Marilla. The last few weeks of her life she spent one on one time with Marilla (her daughter) trying to fill her with guidance for the rest of her life. How do you leave a child and feel they are ever READY to go on WITHOUT YOU. I can't imagine. Love, Karoline
