Some of you know what Master's is, but if you don't here is a brief explanation: The Master's Academy of Fine Arts is a full fine arts school designed specifically for homeschooled children ages 5-18. Meeting just one day per week, children are exposed to the arts from an historical perspective.
Each year the arts are taught from a specific time period beginning with Ancient Civilizations, then moving on to the Medieval/ Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern periods through a six year cycle.
This year they will be studding the Romantic Period. When Zachary, my "all about love" child, heard that it would be The Romantic Period, let out a very big "YAY"...... They do make me laugh sometimes!
The boys were very excited to begin today and see some of their friends from last year. Zachary will be on rotating class for the first time, having specialized teachers for each lesson through the day. Last year he had the same teacher all day long.
(This is the boys with Dax, she is the administrator of Master's Athens)Both Quentin and Zachary love attending Master's and Scott and I enjoy that they get the classroom experience as well as being able to participate in a large play at the end of the year.

You have no idea how jealous I am that your boys have this opportunity. It sounds like a lot of fun!
