Today was Bailey's first soccer game! We went down to cheer him on as his team dominated the field with a 8 (or so.. I lost count) to 0 win over their opponent. Bailey played a hard game and seemed to enjoy it most when he was on offensive. He started in the goal and it was a bit boring in there for him, as you can imagine. He plays in a rec. league like our boys do and they have a nice facility with wonderful fields! The kids have their act together and really played well!
When the game (trouncing) was over, we all went to Wendy's for a burger and then the kids got frostys afterwards! Needless to say having 6 kids of all ages sitting at the same table was pretty loud.
We all really have a good time together and enjoy each other's company. It was fun to "open" Bailey's season cheering him on!
The "girls" go back home tomorrow.... Back to Atlanta.... Kati and Walter have been keeping them while their mom was out of the country on a trip that her husband won.... It was a pretty nice deal... My boys have actually enjoyed hanging out with these two girls and the times we have spent with them have been very loud and active times! I'm sure that Kati and Walter will be sad to see them go but happy to have the house somewhat quiet again! I know my boys will miss them!
During a few down times, Zachary kept Braeden busy playing soccer with him behind us. Braed was the "goalie" for a while and actually had the "stance" going! It was very cute!
It was a fun night and I was happy to be able to share in Bailey's first game of the season! Go Bailey! Go Bailey! You Rock!
