Campout "Saturday Morning"

Seriously? We actually have responsibilities that we have to do?? Can't we just hang out?? (that from the parents not the kids!)

We all know that camping is so much harder on the parents than the kids... But when you look at the smiles that come from them; it is so worth it. My Aunt Tinka said it best one time; "Camping enables kids to run, scream, laugh and play with out anyone ever telling them to hush or calm down." It really is true when you think about it. Our kids enjoyed the whole weekend (of almost) being outside, playing as hard as 4 little boys could play...

In between all the "playing" we actually had several things that we needed to do and our boys were amazing! My dad was a huge factor in them accomplishing as much as they did. Saturday morning we got up to coffee and French toast... (my husband is wonderful and made us breakfast Sat and Sunday morning... French Toast FTW)

Once everyone was fed, showered and changed we headed to mom and dad's for their first "lesson/requirement" of the day.... The Flag Ceremony and the lesson in what a flag means, how you treat it, how you behave around it and what you do in and out of uniform.
